Do we have to pay a subscription?
The screen is a one-off purchase, and everything is included for the first year. After that, calendar, photos, clock and weather stay free on the screen. If you want to keep the rest, Zenframe Family costs €8.99/month. Nothing starts automatically.
What do we need to get started?
Just power and wifi. A wall mount and table stand are included, so the screen can hang on the wall or stand on the worktop or a shelf. Setup takes a few minutes.
Can we use the calendars we already have?
Yes. Google Calendar connects directly in the app, and Spond comes in through a separate calendar — the app shows you the steps. Apple Calendar, Outlook, the school calendar and other calendars come in with a calendar link.
What do the kids get out of it?
A list of their own routines and tasks to tick off themselves. Tasks earn points, shown as diamonds, and the points are saved towards a reward you set up. For those who can't read yet, tasks can be read aloud when they tap.
Can grandparents call the screen?
Yes, once you've switched on “Call the family”. Grandparents download the free Zenframe app, and you approve them as contacts. Calls are voice only — the screen has no camera. The feature is not for emergency calls.
What if it doesn't suit us?
You have a 14-day right to cancel from the day you receive the screen.
Free calendars exist. Why does Zenframe cost money?
Because you're the customer, not the product. There are no ads in Zenframe, and we don't sell the family's data. The content is tied to the family's account and isn't public.
