Zenframe

The digital family calendar that actually ships to Ireland

Skylight Calendar doesn't deliver to Ireland. Zenframe Display does — shipped from Norway and delivered duty paid (DDP): customs and import VAT are paid by us, so the price at checkout is the price you pay. It's a calendar display for the kitchen wall: the shared family calendar, tonight's dinner, chores and the kids' morning routines, visible to everyone without anyone opening an app. Irish bank holidays are built in, St Brigid's Day included, and the October and February mid-terms take a minute to add. 14-day cooling-off period, as for any online purchase in Ireland.

  • Skylight doesn't ship to Ireland. Zenframe does.. Skylight's own international orders page lists the US, Canada, Australia and the UK — Ireland isn't on it, Amazon.ie doesn't stock it, and Costco UK delivers to UK postcodes only. A forwarding service gets you a US unit with a US plug, duties on arrival and a warranty on the far side of the Atlantic. Zenframe Display costs €329 (15.6″) or €229 (Mini 10.1″), with 1 year of Zenframe Family included. Can you get a Skylight Calendar in Europe?
  • Irish bank holidays, St Brigid's Day included. Zenframe shows the Irish public holidays automatically — from St Brigid's Day on the first Monday of February to the October bank holiday and St Stephen's Day — so nobody books the childminder for a day the crèche is closed. The school mid-terms are added once as holiday periods, and the kids' morning routines pause by themselves while school is off. School holidays Ireland 2026/27: all the dates
  • Google, Apple, Outlook and any shared calendar link. Google Calendar, iCloud and Outlook sync directly. Any club, crèche or school calendar that publishes a shareable link (iCal) can be subscribed to as well, and it shows up in the family calendar and on the display.
  • Photograph the school note — the dates are in. A note home from school, the club fixtures or a birthday invitation as a photo or PDF: the assistant reads out date, time and place and suggests the events; you confirm them. On the display itself you can change events, the shopping list and the dinner plan by voice — microphone and speaker are built in. See the display in the live demo — no account needed
  • English, with dates the Irish way. The app and the display are in English, with dd/mm dates and the week starting on Monday. The Zenframe app is on Google Play and the App Store in Ireland.
  • One-off purchase — 1 year of Family included. One year of Zenframe Family is included. After twelve months the calendar, photos, clock and weather carry on free in Basis. If you want to keep the dinner plan, chores, routines and the assistant, you activate Family at €8.99 a month. Nothing starts automatically. See prices and order
  • 14 days to change your mind. You have 14 days from delivery to cancel, 14 days to send the display back, and the refund follows within 14 days of the return — the cooling-off rights that apply to any online purchase in Ireland. No reason needed.
  • Plug: a Type G adapter is needed. Ireland uses the Type G plug, like the UK. The display ships with a European (Type C/F) plug on the power supply, so you'll need a Type G adapter, which isn't included — an ordinary one costs little and is sold everywhere.
  1. Pick a size and a colour. Display 15.6″ for the kitchen, or Display Mini 10.1″ for the hall or a child's room, in a black or white frame. It arrives set up, with wall bracket, table stand, power supply and quick guide in the box. Delivery to Ireland is €29.
  2. Wifi once, and it's running. The display finds your family on first boot. Connect the calendars you already use — Google, Apple, the club's shared calendar — and the week fills itself in. Irish bank holidays are already there; add the mid-terms once.
  3. Everyone sees the same thing — without asking. Mornings show who goes where and what goes in the schoolbag. Afternoons show collections, training and dinner. Evenings show tomorrow before it arrives.

The day at kid height — they check it themselves.

One tap on their own name and the display walks the child through their morning or evening routine step by step — with read-aloud for pre-readers and rewards that turn chores into something kids actually want to do. Adult settings sit safely behind a code. Kids mode ships with both models.

FAQ

Does Zenframe ship to Ireland?

Yes, to any address in the Republic of Ireland. The display costs €329 (15.6″) or €229 (Mini 10.1″), and delivery is €29. It ships by UPS from Norway, delivered duty paid (DDP): customs clearance and import VAT are handled and paid by us, so the checkout price is the final price. Delivery time per size and colour is shown at checkout, and you have 14 days from delivery to change your mind.

Can I buy a Skylight Calendar in Ireland?

Not directly. Skylight accepts international orders for the US, Canada, Australia and the UK; Ireland is not on the list. Amazon.ie does not stock it, and Costco UK's listing delivers to UK postcodes only. A forwarding service will get you a US unit — with a US plug, duties and VAT on arrival, and a warranty handled in the US. Zenframe Display comes without any of that.

Does it know the Irish bank holidays?

Yes. Zenframe shows the Irish public holidays automatically, including St Brigid's Day on the first Monday of February (or 1 February itself when that falls on a Friday), the May, June, August and October bank holidays, Christmas Day and St Stephen's Day. Good Friday is not a public holiday and is not shown as one.

What about the mid-terms and school holidays?

Irish school holidays are standardised by the Department of Education, so the October mid-term, Christmas, the February mid-term and Easter are the same for every school. You add them once as holiday periods in Zenframe — the kids' morning routines pause and the display shows the week is off. If your school or club shares a calendar link, you can subscribe to that too. All the 2026/27 dates are on one page.

Will it work with my school's app?

Zenframe subscribes to any calendar that publishes a shareable link (iCal) — Google, Apple, Outlook and many club platforms. School apps that don't offer a shared calendar can't be synced; for those you photograph the note or the term calendar and let the assistant read the dates in.

What plug does it come with?

A European (Type C/F) plug on the power supply, as the display ships from the Netherlands. Ireland uses Type G, so you'll need a Type G adapter, which isn't included — an ordinary one costs little and is sold everywhere.

What happens after the first year?

One year of Zenframe Family is included. After 12 months the calendar, photos, clock and weather continue free in Basis. If you want to keep every Family feature, you activate Family at €8.99 a month — two years with Family throughout comes to about €466 including the display and delivery. Nothing starts automatically.

What are my rights if it isn't for us?

The same as for any online purchase in Ireland: 14 days from delivery to cancel, 14 days to send it back, and a refund within 14 days of the return. You don't have to give a reason.
