Can you actually get a Skylight Calendar in Europe?

Short answer: only in the UK. Skylight takes international orders for the US, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom — no EU country is on that list, and there is no European reseller. A forwarding service gets one to you, but then transatlantic freight, customs and VAT land on top of $299.99, the plug matches the country you ordered through, and the warranty sits on the other side of an ocean. Here is the arithmetic — and what ships from inside Europe instead.

  • The short answer is the UK only. Skylight's own international orders page lists the US, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. No EU country appears, and there is no European reseller. Everything else is a workaround.
  • The workaround costs more than the sticker. A forwarding service buys in the US and ships onward. It works, but adds transatlantic freight, customs, VAT and a service fee on top of $299.99 — and you are the importer of record if anything has to go back.
  • The plug follows the country you order through. Skylight states the unit ships with the adapter and plug matching the power specification of the country you ordered through. Buy from the US store and you get a US plug plus an adapter.
  • Photos sit behind the Plus subscription. The photo screensaver, meal planning and email import all require Skylight Plus at $79 a year. The free tier covers calendar, tasks, lists and weather. See all the Skylight alternatives
  • European school holidays and club apps are absent. Skylight is built for the American family week. European school terms, club apps, local languages and local public holidays are not part of the product. See Zenframe Display
  1. The device price is only the start. $299.99 is the starting point. Add US freight, customs, VAT and the forwarder's fee before you compare it with anything at all.
  2. Plus costs $79 a year. If you want family photos on the screen when nothing is scheduled, Plus is mandatory. Count two or three years, not one — that is how long a screen like this stays on the wall.
  3. European unit, European warranty, your own week. Zenframe Display ships within Europe with a 14-day return window and 1 year of Zenframe Family included. That makes the comparison simpler than it looks.

One tap on their own name and the display walks the child through their morning or evening routine step by step — with read-aloud for pre-readers and rewards that turn chores into something kids actually want to do. Adult settings sit safely behind a code. Kids mode ships with both models.

FAQ

Does Skylight ship to Europe?

Only to the United Kingdom. Skylight states that international orders are accepted for the US, Canada, Australia and the UK. No EU country is on that list, and there is no European reseller. A forwarding service or a second-hand unit works, but then you are the importer of record.

What does a Skylight Calendar cost delivered into Europe?

The 15-inch model is $299.99 from Skylight. Add US freight, customs, VAT and the forwarder's fee, then Skylight Plus at $79 a year if you want photo display and meal planning. Work out the total over two or three years rather than comparing sticker prices.

Do I need Skylight Plus?

It depends what you use the screen for. Calendar, tasks, lists and weather are in the free tier. The photo screensaver, meal planning and importing attachments from email sit behind Plus at $79 a year.

Does Skylight work in European languages?

No. The interface is English, and the product is built for the American family week. European school terms, club apps and local public holidays are not part of it.

What is the alternative that actually ships from within Europe?

Zenframe Display: a calendar screen and photo frame in one, in six languages, with school holidays, club-app sync, meal planning and children's routines. It ships within Europe with a 14-day return window, costs from €229 as a one-time purchase and includes 1 year of Zenframe Family.
