Water play bingo for kids
Water play bingo for kids is a free bingo game with summer motifs, like a bucket, a sprinkler, a beach ball, a sandcastle and an ice cream van. Download the sheet as a PDF, print it at home, and give the children something to look out for at the beach, in the garden or on a hot summer day outside.
About this sheet
Water play bingo is a picture bingo with summer motifs, made to be played outside when it's hot. Each square shows something the children can find nearby, like a bucket, a beach ball or a sprinkler, and they mark it off as they see it. Because the motifs are illustrated, even the youngest can join in.
The game suits the beach, the garden and around the pool on a hot day. It gives the children something to do between swims and keeps play going without a screen. Many use it over the summer holidays and on long, lazy days when energy needs channelling into something other than nagging for ice cream.
The sheet comes in three age variants: ages 4–6 with simple motifs like a bucket and a beach ball, ages 7–9, and ages 10–12 with more — and slightly harder — things to find. Each board has at least 25 motifs, so there's plenty to look for throughout a whole sunny day outside.
You download the sheet for free and without signing in, and it prints in A4 at home before you head out. Print one board per child, and pop it in a plastic sleeve if it'll be used near water. The rule is simple: first to five in a row, or fill the whole board for the youngest.
What you get
- A4 5×5 bingo boards with water and summer motifs: bucket, sprinkler, beach ball, sandcastle and ice cream van.
- Choose the setting — beach, garden or pool — so the motifs match where you are.
- Pictures for the youngest and words for the oldest, ready in two levels on the same sheet.
- Three unique boards per download, so siblings don't end up with identical sheets.
- A name field at the top that keeps rounds tidy with no squabbling over who saw what.
How to use it
- Choose setting and age. Set whether the board should be about the beach, the garden or the pool, and choose the age for each player. Each child gets a board matched to their own level.
- Print and laminate if you like. Print at home on a normal printer. If you want to use the board near water, put it in a plastic sleeve or laminate it, so it can take a bit of splashing.
- Play outside in the summer heat. The children mark off motifs they see while they play. Agree whether one row or a full board counts, and let the winner pick an ice cream from the van as a prize.
