About this sheet

The activity booklet is a four-page A4 booklet that rolls three activities into one: fall bingo for a walk, a fall quiz for quieter moments, and a fall scavenger hunt for the woods. Instead of hunting for something to do each day of fall break — or October half term, if you're in the UK — it's all in one place, and you can pick whatever suits the moment: bingo on a walk, the quiz around the table, and a scavenger hunt when the children need to move.

The booklet is built for the whole week off, when the days can drag and children need something to do away from screens. It works on a nature walk, at home on a rainy afternoon and on a trip away. Use the pages in any order and spread the activities across the week rather than getting through them all at once. Everything is about autumn: falling leaves, acorns, mushrooms, migrating birds and all the things children can spot outside right now.

The booklet comes in three age variants — ages 4–6, 7–9 and 10–12 — so the bingo, quiz and scavenger hunt all land at exactly the right level. Download the full booklet for free with no sign-up and print it on A4 at home before the break. If you'd rather have the activities on their own, fall bingo, fall quiz and fall scavenger hunt are also available as separate sheets.
